The art of cosmetic injections

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators known as Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport are Health Canada and FDA-approved. They are commonly used in cosmetic procedures to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. When injected by a fine needle, it blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscle, inhibiting the movement of that muscle. This treatment is not permanent and does require maintenance. Therapy is indicated by muscle weakness that begins 48-72 hours post-treatment and peaking 7-14 days.

Neuromodulators should be administered by an experienced Health Care Professional, as it is an Artistic Medical Procedure. There is minimal discomfort in this procedure. I promise to ensure you are properly informed of all risks and to support you along this journey.
